Are your technicians qualified?

Yes. Our technicians are NPTA registered (No. 2888) and hold relevant industry qualifications. We are also members of the PROMPT register, TrustMark accredited, and Angus Trusted Trader approved.

Do you offer one-off treatments or ongoing contracts?

Both. We offer one-off treatments for residential customers and flexible ongoing contracts for commercial clients. Contract frequency is tailored to your site risk level and requirements.

What is your 30-day guarantee?

If the problem persists within 30 days of your treatment, we will return at no extra charge, provided our aftercare recommendations have been followed. This includes any proofing, hygiene, or preparation measures advised by your technician. The guarantee does not apply where a new or separate infestation has occurred or where access has been restricted. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for requirements and eligible pest types.

Is it safe to stay in my home during treatment?

Accepted Answer

This depends on the type of treatment. For most rodent and insect treatments, you can remain in the property. For certain spray or fumigation treatments, we will advise you on how long to vacate and when it is safe to return. Your technician will explain everything before starting.

Will my neighbours know you have visited?

We operate discreetly. Our vehicles are sign-written but we do not advertise the nature of the visit to neighbours. We understand pest problems can be sensitive.

How many visits will I need?

This varies by pest and severity. Some infestations are resolved in a single visit; others, such as rodent problems, typically require two or three visits over a few weeks. We will give you a realistic expectation at the time of quoting.

Do I need to prepare my home before a visit?

Yes, in some cases. We will advise you on any preparation needed when booking, such as clearing areas under kitchen units, removing pet food, or covering fish tanks. Following these steps helps ensure the treatment is as effective as possible.

Can you provide pest control documentation for audits?

Yes. All commercial visits include a detailed service report covering pests found, treatments applied, recommendations, and follow-up actions. We also provide bait station maps, trend analysis reports, and corrective action records suitable for BRC, SALSA, EHO, and retailer audits.

Yes. We offer flexible scheduled contracts for offices, restaurants, hotels, care homes, schools, warehouses, and food manufacturing facilities. Visit frequency is tailored to your site risk level and any applicable audit requirements.

Can you work around our operating hours?

Yes. We are available 7 days a week, 07:00 to 21:00, and can schedule visits to minimise disruption to your business. For schools, we schedule treatments during term breaks as standard.

Do you carry out pre-audit pest inspections?

Yes. We offer pre-audit inspections to identify pest activity, harbourage risks, and documentation gaps before your audit date. We provide a written report with corrective action recommendations.

Are your products safe for food production environments?

Yes. We use COSHH-compliant products appropriate for food manufacturing and processing environments, and schedule treatments to minimise disruption to production. We advise on any preparation steps required and provide full clearance guidance.

How do I know if I have rats or mice?

Both leave similar signs: droppings, gnaw marks, grease trails, and scratching sounds. Rat droppings are larger (around 12mm, tapered at one end); mouse droppings are smaller (3–6mm). Rats tend to burrow and favour ground level; mice are more agile and often found in wall cavities and loft spaces. If you are unsure, contact us and we can advise.

Can you treat a wasp nest safely?

Yes. Wasp nest treatment is one of our most common jobs. We treat the nest directly using professional insecticide. The nest is usually inactive within 24 hours. We do not recommend DIY treatment as disturbing a nest without the right equipment can be dangerous.

Yes. Bed bug treatment typically involves a combination of insecticide spray and follow-up visits. We will advise on preparation steps before treatment and aftercare to prevent reinfestation. Early treatment is important as bed bugs spread quickly.

Can you remove a bird nest?

Most wild birds and their active nests are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. We cannot remove an active nest during the nesting season. We can, however, install proofing measures to prevent birds returning once the nest is no longer active. Contact us to discuss your situation.

Do you treat cockroaches?

Yes. Cockroach treatment typically uses gel bait and targeted insecticide, with follow-up visits to confirm eradication. Cockroaches are resilient and can be difficult to eliminate without professional treatment. Early intervention is important.
